15 Penulisan Daftar Pustaka APA Style, Mahasiswa Sudah Tahu?

Penulisan daftar pustaka selalu dibutuhkan dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah. Terkait hal ini, beberapa organisasi mengeluarkan model daftar pustaka masing‐masing yang disesuaikan dengan bidang-bidang kajiannya.

Dikutip dari buku bertajuk Bahasa Indonesia untuk Perguruan Tinggi karya Drs. I Ketut Dibia, daftar pustaka adalah daftar yang berisikan identitas buku dan pengarang yang disusun secara alfabetis dalam suatu karya ilmiah. Daftar pustaka ini biasanya memiliki fungsi untuk menunjukkan bahwa tulisan yang dibuat bersifat ilmiah.

Selain itu, fungsinya untuk menginformasikan pembaca bahwa karya ilmiah yang kita buat memiliki referensi dari penelitian terdahulu.

Salah satu gaya penulisan daftar pustaka yang banyak digunakan oleh satuan pendidikan adalah APA Style (American Psychological Association). Biasanya karya ilmiah ilmu-ilmu sosial sering menggunakan gaya penulisan ini, seperti psikologi, antropologi, sosiologi, serta pendidikan, dan bidang lainnya.

Berikut penulisan daftar pustaka dengan format APA Style edisi ketujuh berdasarkan sumber rujukannya yang dirangkum dari laman Perpustakaan UGM (Universitas Gadjah Mada).
