Gaji tinggi yang diterima kiper itu tidak sejalan dengan prestasi yang diberikannya untuk klub. Bahkan kiper dengan pendapatan tertinggi di dunia mendapatkan sorotan karena performanya musim lalu yang kerap membuat blunder.

David de Gea Quintana adalah pesepakbola berkebangsaan Spanyol. Kini, De Gea bermain sebagai kiper untuk tim Manchester United serta timnas Spanyol.
Disebut-sebut sebagai kiper terbaik dunia, De Gea ternyata merupakan kiper termahal dunia dengan bayaran 375 ribu euro atau sekitar Rp 6,15 miliar per pekan. Performa De Gea di MU musim lalu disorot karena kerap membuat blunder.
Sampai hari ini belum ada kepastian apakah De Gea akan lanjut atau hengkang dari MU. Kontrak mantan pemain Atletico Madrid di The Red Devils akan kadaluarsa 30 Juni 2023.

Sama seperti Alisson Becker, Kepa Arrizabalaga juga mendapatkan bayaran 150 ribu euro atau Rp 2,4 miliar per pekan. Kepa Arrizabalaga merupakan kiper yang bermain untuk klub Chelsea dan timnas Spanyol.
Kepa sempat menjadi penghangat bangku cadangan di Chelsea. Terlebih setelah kedatangan Eduardo Mendy. Perlahan perfoma Kepa membaik dan kembali dipercaya menjadi kiper utama menggantikan Mendy.
