Dikutip dari situs resmi LPDP Kementerian Keuangan, LoA adalah singkatan dari Letter of Admission/Acceptance. LoA merupakan sebuah surat atau catatan yang dikeluarkan oleh perguruan tinggi dengan tujuan memberi tahu pendaftar mengenai status diterimanya yang bersangkutan di kampus tersebut.

Fungsi Letter of Acceptance (LoA)

Jenis Letter of Acceptance (LoA)

Terdapat dua jenis LoA, yakni LoA Unconditional dan Conditional. Kembali dirangkum dari laman LPDP Kementerian Keuangan, berikut penjelasannya:

A. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) Unconditional

LoA unconditional adalah surat pernyataan yang menyatakan seorang kandidat telah diterima di perguruan tinggi tujuan tanpa syarat. Artinya, sang pelamar hanya perlu untuk melakukan registrasi ulang saja.

Beberapa hal yang biasanya tertera dalam LoA unconditional adalah program studi, durasi studi, dan awal perkuliahan (intake). Selain itu, terdapat juga informasi mengenai langkah berikutnya untuk memulai perkuliahan, seperti registrasi ulang dan aturan terkait pembayaran biaya kuliah.

B. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) Conditional

Berbeda dengan LoA unconditional, LoA conditional menyatakan seorang kandidat telah diterima dengan persyaratan tertentu. Singkatnya, seseorang baru dapat dikatakan 100% diterima ketika ia telah memenuhi persyaratan yang diwajibkan. Biasanya, beberapa hal yang menyebabkan seseorang menerima LoA conditional adalah:

1. TOEFL/IELTS belum memenuhi skor minimum syarat sehingga harus menyusulkan
2. Belum menyerahkan tema riset/penelitian
3. Belum menyerahkan dokumen persyaratan seperti ijazah dan transkrip nilai
4. Belum menyerahkan pernyataan sponsorship

Cara Mendapatkan Letter of Acceptance (LoA)

Sebelum memulai proses mengejar LoA, detikers disarankan untuk mempersiapkan dokumen-dokumen yang kemungkinan diminta pihak kampus. Di antaranya adalah CV, ijazah, sertifikat bahasa Inggris seperti TOEFL atau IELTS, dan transkrip nilai.

Adapun tahapan-tahapan untuk mendapatkannya secara umum adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Cari informasi tentang kampus tujuan, baik terkait program studi, persyaratan pendaftaran, maupun jadwal pendaftaran.
2. Ajukan pendaftaran sesuai dengan tata cara yang dipersyaratkan kampus.
3. Proses verifikasi dari pihak kampus tujuan.
4. Nantikan pengumuman dari kampus terkait. Jika lulus tahap screening, maka pendaftar kemungkinan besar akan diinformasikan untuk mengikuti tes tertentu.
5. Ikuti tes yang disiapkan pihak kampus. Biasanya terdiri dari tes tulis dan wawancara.
6. Tunggu pengumuman final. Jika diterima, maka LoA akan segera dikirimkan melalui email atau pos.

Through GoldLink you may view available courses, transfer courses or credit, registration holds (requirements prior to course registration), immunization requirement status, course catalog, TN Lottery Scholarship Eligibility, financial aid status, and student account.

If you have completed collegiate level courses either by proficiency exam or through dual-enrollment credit you must provide transcripts prior to orientation and registration. When college transfer credit has been recorded for you, you may view the course equivalencies online. The instructions for entering the GoldLink student information system follow:
1. Go to GoldLink.
2. Enter your ETSU username.
3. Enter the password you created at (link)
4. Click login.
5. On the ETSU tab click GoldLink Self-Service - Student-- Student Records - Transfer Evaluation.
6. You may choose a sort order to view your evaluation and click submit.
