Tujuan Teks Prosedur

Teks prosedur memiliki tiga struktur utama yang terdiri dari tujuan (goal), material (materials), dan langkah-langkah (steps/methods).
Tujuan
Bagian ini berisi judul dan tujuan dari pembuatan teks prosedur. Dari judul yang dibuat, para pembaca akan langsung mengetahui tujuan yang hendak dicapai.
Material
Bagian ini membahas tentang bahan, alat, atau material yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan sesuatu. Namun tidak semua teks prosedur memiliki bagian ini karena hanya berkaitan tentang pembuatan sesuatu, seperti makanan.
Langkah-langkah
Bagian ini menjelaskan langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan pembaca untuk mencapai tujuan dan hasil. Langkah-langkah yang diberikan adalah secara berurutan.
Contoh Teks Prosedur dalam Bahasa Inggris
Contoh 1: How to Make Fluffy Pancake
Ingredients:
- 5 eggs
- 40 gram sugar
- 60 gram purpose flour
- 2 gram baking powder
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Honey
Instructions:
- First, separate the egg yolk and the white. Then beat the egg white until stiff.
- In a separated bowl, mix the egg yolks with sugar until the sugar melts.
- Next, add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Then stir until all the ingredients are mixed.
- Slowly pour all the mixture ingredients into one bowl. Then add vanilla extract and mix it.
- Then heat a pan over a low-medium heat and coat it with butter. Use a 1/4 cup measure to scoop and drop the batter into the pan so that you get evenly-sized pancakes.
- Cook until the first side is golden brown, or until the top surface forms bubbles.
- Flip and repeat on the other side. Adjust heat accordingly.
- Finally, serve the pancake while it is still warm with honey. You can add some fruits like grapes or strawberries to make it more delicious.

Ingredients:
- 1 tea bag
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 220 ml hot water
Methods:
- Pour hot water into the cup.
- Dip tea bag in the cup.
- Cut the lemon into two equal halves.
- Squeeze the lemon over the strainer.
- Add honey and stir until it is dissolved.
- The lemon tea is ready to drink.

Ingredients:
- 2 large banana shallots, roughly chopped
- 5cm/2in piece fresh root ginger, peeled, roughly chopped
- 2 lemongrass stalks, tough outer leaves discarded, core roughly chopped
- 3 lime leaves, roughly chopped
- 6 garlic cloves, peeled, roughly chopped
- 4 long red chillies, roughly chopped
- 1kg/2lb 4oz stewing beef, cut into cubes
- 1-2 small dried chillies, to taste
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 5 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
- 3 star anise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 x 400ml tin coconut milk
- 200ml/7fl oz beef stock
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp palm sugar
- 2 tbsp tamarind paste
- 2 limes, juice only
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- boiled jasmine rice, to serve
Methods:
- First, blend the shallots, ginger, lemongrass, lime leaves, garlic, red chillies and 5 tablespoons of water to a paste in a food processor.
- Second, scoop the mixture out into a large bowl and add the beef, mixing well until the meat is coated in the paste.
- Next cover and set aside to marinate for at least 2 hours, and preferably overnight in the fridge.
- After that, put the dried chillies into a bowl and cover with boiling water from the kettle. Set aside for 30 minutes to soften.
- Heat the oil in a casserole over a medium heat. Add the cardamom, star anise, cinnamon, ground cumin and ground coriander and stir the spices into the oil until fragrant. Add the marinated beef and stir well to coat it in the spices.
- Next add all of the remaining ingredients except the lime juice (and the rice) and bring the mixture to the boil. Reduce the heat until the mixture is simmering.
- Drain the dried chillies, reserving the soaking water, and chop them finely. Add the chillies and 50ml/2fl oz of the soaking water to the casserole and stir well. Cover with a lid and simmer for 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the lid and stir the curry, then simmer for a further 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. Stir in the lime juice and season, to taste, with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Ingredients:
- ½ onion, finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Pepper as needed
- 2 plates of previously cooked rice
- A tablespoon oyster sauce
- Two tablespoon frying oil
- Peas and chopped carrots as needed
Instructions:
- Heat the pan with medium heat. Pour the oil into the pan.
- When the oil is hot enough, slide the onion, peas, and carrots to the side.
- Then pour the beaten eggs onto the other side. Scramble the egg using spatula.
- When the veggie and egg mixture is half cooked, add the rice and stir. Do not use rice you have just cooked because it will be like porridge.
- Add the salt, pepper and oyster sauce.Stir until it is all cooked.
- You can add some chili or chili powder if you like spicy foods.
- You can also add other ingredients like shrimp, sausage, or meatball to make it more delicious. But you need to add it before you add the rice to make sure that all the ingredients will be well cooked together.
