Analytical exposition text pada dasarnya tergabung dalam jenis teks exposition atau argumen. Berbagai argumen dan pendapat ini dituangkan dalam teks dan tidak diucapkan secara langsung.
Dikutip dari buku Pintar dan Juara Bahasa Inggris SMA oleh Elang Yudantoro (2014), teks exposition merupakan sebuah teks yang membahas isu atau permasalahan dari satu sudut pandang. Nah, exposition itu dibagi menjadi dua jenis yaitu analytical dan hortatory.
Analytical exposition text dijelaskan sebagai argumen teks yang tidak disertai saran dan hanya menyertakan pendapat dan argumen-argumen saja. Sedangkan hortatory exposition text adalah teks yang disertai saran.

1. Social Function (Tujuan)
Untuk memaparkan dan memengaruhi audience dalam hal ini pembaca bahwa ada masalah yang harus diperhatikan dan dibenahi.
2. Generic Structure (Sistematika penulisan)
Thesis: Pernyataan inti pendapat, berkenan dengan topik yang dibahas.
Arguments: Argumen pendukung yang terdiri atas poin inti yang dikemukakan dan penjabarannya.
Reiteration: Kesimpulan penguatan pernyataan.
3. Language Features (Ciri kebahasaan)
Analytical Exposition Text menggunakan dan memiliki ciri kebahasaan yang utama seperti:
- Simple present tense. Contohnya "Some pesticides affect non target animals such as fish and bees.
- Words of metal process atau kata yang mengekspresikan pemikiran, persepsi atau perasaan. Contohnya think, see, feel.
- Words of relational process atau kata yang mengekspresikan perubahan. Contohnya being, having, becoming.
- Menggunakan kata yang menghubungkan frasa dan kalimat. Contohnya penggunaan because, so, that, dan due to.
Analytical exposition text juga memiliki language features seperti menggunakan modals, action verbs, thinking verbs, adverbs, adjectives, istilah teknis, general and abstract nouns, serta connectives atau transitions.

Why Exercise is Important
The majority of us claim that we do not have time for exercise. We feel too busy to do that. However, many experts says that exercise has great role in making our body healthy.
Being physically active offers many advantages. In physical rewards, exercise can help reducing body weight and making our body fitter. Exercise is also believed to reduce stress levels, improve sleep patterns, and reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and some forms of cancer. Besides physical advantage, exercise also brings good effects mentally. Due to the fitter body, exercise can make us feel refreshed and happy, increasing our life quality and expectancy.
How can we exercise while we are busy? Such question is commonly found among us. Actually, exercise can be done in simple ways. We can go walking while shopping. We can take the stairs rather than lift at the office. Or we can go cycling while enjoying our leisure time.
After all, doing exercise is difficult in a busy life but a little exercise will help us feel better.

Violators of the Covid-19 health protocol must be sanctioned. As we know, the number of people infected with the Covid virus is still increasing in our country, but some people still ignore health protocols by not wearing masks and not keeping their distance.
First, offenders will continue to ignore government-recommended health protocols if they are not sanctioned. By being given sanctions, the will feel deterred and ashamed so that they will obey the rules given in the future.
Second, by giving sanctions to violators, they will understand responsibility. Not only doest it prevent us from being infected by viruses, but adhering to health protocols also keeps other safe. We many not feel infected, but at least we prevent bad things from happening by continuing to keep our distance and wearing masks. That way, we will fulfill our responsibilities to ourselves and others.
Finally, sanctioning violators will make them more aware of the dangers of Covid-19. It is said that WHO declared Covid-19 as a pandemic, which means this virus is very dangerous, so it is best to continue to maintain health and avoid Covid-19. Therefore, health protocol violators should be penalized for the reasons mentioned above.
