13 February 2025, Saxony-Anhalt, Wettin-Löbejün: A pottery shard lies on a table at the excavation site of a farmstead near Nauendorf Archaeologists have discovered a farmstead here that is around 700 years old. The layout of the complex is still very well preserved. The building complex includes two towers, a manorial hall and various furnaces. The farmstead from the 13th century is based on a Slavic settlement with farm buildings and an associated burial ground. A total of 20 graves were recorded.
