Pernah ngaku lho, Taylor Swift dapet berbagai reaksi dari para mantan soal lagunya, salah satunya Jake Gyllenhaal.
"Dia bilang, 'Aku baru dengerin albumnya, pengalaman yang manis tapi bikin sedih juga. Kayak ngeliat album foto lama.' Lucu sih," cerita Taylor Swift ke majalah New York soal reaksi Jake terhadap lagu All Too Well di album Red (2012).
Tapi gak cuma lagu galau doang, kok. Setelah jadian sama Joe Alwyn pada 2017, Taylor Swift justru nemuin koneksi musikal sama sang aktor.
"Joe dan aku sama-sama suka banget lagu sedih. Kita selalu nyambung lewat musik... Lagu sedih kita yang paling jago deh bikinnya. Ya gimana lagi, kita memang suka lagu sedih," kata Taylor ke Zane Lowe di Desember 2020 soal proses pembuatan album Folklore bareng Alwyn.
"Kayaknya aneh ya kita bisa nulis lagu bareng, tapi sebenernya nggak juga sih. Kita sudah lama nyambung lewat musik dan selera musik kita sama. Dia orang yang selalu ngasih tau lagu-lagu baru dari artis lain, dan biasanya langsung jadi lagu favoritku."
