Rosé merilis single keduanya buat album 'rosie'. Setelah lagu APT. yang ceria dan menyenangkan viral, lagu kedua ini lebih deep dan punya nuansa mellow berjudul Number One Girl.
Member BLACKPINK itu kolaborasi lagi bareng Bruno Mars dalam lagu ini. Solois pria bernama asli Peter Gene Hernandez itu menjabat sebagai produser buat single Number One Girl milik Rosé.
Rosé menggunakan nama aslinya di kredit lagu Number One Girl yakni Chae Young Park. Dia menulis lagu ini bersama kolaboratornya yang lain seperti Amy Allen, Carter Lang, Dernst Emile II, Dylan Wiggins, Omer Fedi, dan Bruno Mars.
