Surabaya - Masjid Nasional Al-Akbar merupakan salah satu masjid terbesar di Indonesia. Masjid tersebut menjadi ikon ibu kota Jawa Timur, Surabaya.

Masjid yang juga dikenal dengan nama Masjid Agung Surabaya ini lokasinya sangat strategis, tepatnya berada di Jalan Masjid Agung Timur no. 1, Pagesangan, Kecamatan Jambangan, Surabaya. Daerah ini dekat dengan Bandara Juanda Surabaya, tak jauh dari Surabaya Carnival Park, juga berada di sisi Jalan Tol Surabaya – Gempol.

Pembangunan masjid Al-Akbar dimulai pada Agustus 1995, masjid ini baru selesai dan diresmikan pada November 2000 oleh Presiden Indonesia saat itu, Abdurrahman Wahid.
